High Speed Electric Express Train – HSR

The High Speed Electric Railway set to connect the Red Sea to the Mediterranean with a 3-hour journey connecting Ain Sokhna City to Al-Alamein City. When completed, the railway will cover a distance of 543 kilometers and will make several stops along its way to Al-Alamein. The train will pass through the cities of the New Administrative Capital, 6th of October, Burj Al-Arab and finally Alexandria. It also is set to be the first electric railway to operate in Egypt since 1854.
