The port is located on the East Coast of the Gulf of Suez, approximately 30 miles south of the Suez Canal entry. The port is connected to the hinterland road network via one single large entrance area. Through the port area a network of main roads has been constructed and all utilities, including water, electricity, telecommunications and IT networks are well established. Specific conveyor systems have been constructed to minimize logistics costs and environmental impact. The port is connected to Cairo via a six lane highway, ensuring speedy movement of maritime traffic to and from the port.

Our mission in this project is to provide some of our testing services with a full interpretation consultancy services as follows:

• Full Scale Static Compression Loading Tests up to 1600 tons
• Cross-hole Sonic Logging (CSL)
• Integrity Testing (PIT or SIT)
• Shaft Area Profile Evaluator (SHAPE)
